Returns overview
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, with tags where applicable, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at hello@blackhairconnections.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Return address provided in your return authorization email after approval. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
For damaged or incorrect items, include your order number and photos when you email us. We prioritize these cases and will work with the fulfilling partner store when needed.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to the nature of hair and beauty products, certain items cannot be returned once opened or used, including:
• Opened or used braiding hair packs, curl hair, or weave bundles
• Opened or used styling products (edge control, mousse, sprays, etc.)
• Curated kits where individual components have been opened or used
• Items marked as final sale
• Gift cards
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
If you ordered from a partner store on Black Hair Connections, exchanges are handled through the same return process above.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method as per Shopify refund policies.
